• Effective against over 150 pathogens including MRSA, VRE, CRE and fungi (in-vitro), including gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria, yeasts and fungal wound pathogens (in-vitro)
• In a study, patients treated with ACTICOAT dressing were nearly three times more likely to heal during the study than patients treated with other silver dressings
• ACTICOAT dressings can kill bacteria as quickly as 30 min (in-vitro)
• Shown to eliminate signs of infection with fewer dressing changes, helping to reduce the adverse patient experiences associated with dressing changes and limiting disturbance to the wound may support healing progression
• Prophylactic or early application may help minimize progression to systemic infection
