3M™ SILVERCEL™ dressing is a sterile, non-woven pad composed of a high G (guluronic acid) alginate, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and silver-coated nylon fibers. The excellent fluid absorption ability and the lasting antimicrobial activity make this dressing the ideal dressing for chronic wounds 1,2 with moderate to high levels of exudate.
